Indiana Fall Foliage Prediction Map

Although nobody truly knows when the exact dates of peak fall foliage will be, we can assume that peak colors will hit the Fremont area in mid to late October, around October 15-23, 2024. Mid to late October is the perfect time to continue your family's annual Halloween traditions in the crisp, autumn temperatures. Pokagon State Park

This state park offers 13.7 miles of trails, including guided horseback rides! Pokagon State Park offers unique ways to experience the changing colors of fall right in the heart of Fremont, IN.

Trine State Recreation Area

With 200 acres of rolling hills and scenic trails, there is so much hiking opportunity for the whole family to enjoy the beautiful Indiana fall colors at Trine State Recreation Area. Plus, you can even bring your fishing gear and try your hand at a catch from the fishing pier or rented boat! 

Lake James Golf Club

Conveniently located just down the road from Jellystone Park™ Barton Lake, this 18-hole golf course offers scenic views of the 101 Lakes area and various options of play. So whether you're looking to bring the kids out for a casual round of golf, or you want to take on the more challenging Lake James tees that stretch a little over 6600 yards, this course is the spot to be to truly enjoy the fall colors.
